Rokova modrina (Rok's Depth) depicts the life of renowned skier and freediver Rok Petrovič. Petrovič's skiing career was brief and extraordinary, as was his life (he drowned in 1993 at the age of 27). Petrovič's unorthodox skiing technique revolutionised the sport and resulted in a remarkable winning streak. This unlikely champion, who loved yoga, poetry, and philosophy, won the World Cup slalom title in 1986, but ended his career after a mere five seasons. One might say Petrovič considered skiing far too important to take it up professionally. Rokova modrina marks the 18th collaboration between director Matjaž Pograjc and Silence.

The score, which slaloms between roaring ski arenas and the tranquillity of sub-aquatic landscapes, combines the piano, drums, and atmospheric synthesizer sounds. The score features Luka Šalehar (drums) and Igor Vićentić (piano). The piano was recorded at Pianoroom. The drums were recorded by Jure Vlahovič at Metro. The score was produced at Daily Girl, Silence's private production facility.
